Thanks to Living Tours and Joao, my Super Bock guide, I had the best time at the Super Bock Beer Tour and Tasting in Porto. I tried to book direct with Super Bock, but they have no online system, and the person answering inquiries only offered me a date 2-3 weeks in the future (unreasonable) and no followup. Cristiana at Living Tours responded within an hour, asked if I could go on a certain date and time, confirmed, sent me the voucher, and everything went smooth. The tour itself had it all - history, beer through the ages, interactive parts, real views of the production line, sustainability, and of course the tasting. We had three pairings, and our guide was enthusiastic and incredible -- so much knowledge about beer, easy to chat with, and super friendly. It was only me and a guy from Germany, and luckily we got along great and all of us had beer knowledge and stories to share. I'm happy that two others no-showed. It felt very personal and I highly recommend :)

The visit is good. We got to know how beer is brewed and how it is distributed. We didn't talk about this during the visit but the marketing of this company is phenomenal. It is far ahead. Access to the factory can be done by a shuttle provided by Casa da Cerveja, with pick-up in front of Trindade metro station, which costs 3 € / person (round trip). This service must be requested in advance.

Access to the factory could be more central but we also realize that this kind of industries have to be located in the industrial zones. To get to the factory you need to take a bus with the number 600 and then change to another with the number 505. However, the visit was spectacular, very interactive and captivating. I will recommend to all my friends

For those who have never visited Porto, this beer is an icon of the city. Northern people just like this beer. I've been to several breweries and Super Bock is at the top of my visits. A well-organized visit that lets us know the production process and the bottling. In the end we taste a beer.
