Fado is a unique music genre of Portugal and it is listed as a World Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. 

Discover the beautiful melancholic sounds of Fado in a traditional Fado house and listen to the sincere lyrics while sipping port wine.

Enjoy an acoustic performance of traditional Fado performed with traditional instruments. 

Feel the essence of this live concert with a female leading singer accompanied by a Portuguese guitar player and a guitar player (playing the viola de fado).

The show lasts 1 hour. A port wine will be served during the interlude.

not a tourist trap
Anna has a beautiful voice and her two companions - who also sang a few songs - were seasoned musicians. During the break you get a glass of port and the whole is very casual and certainly not a "tourist trap". In our opinion a must! Do book in advance. Price quality great!

If you are interested in Portuguese culture, you should definitely go there. We have already booked the tickets online at home The one-hour concert takes place in the salesroom of the Casa da Guitarra. About 50 seats. The concert is interrupted by a small port drink. The musicians and the singer play at a high level.

not a busy day but it was excellent
We visited the event, but fortunately, there was not much going on that day and we easily got seats. The singer had a strong classic voice. The musicians were very good. The music was breathtakingly beautiful and absolutely worth the price, plus a glass of port was included in the break.
