Great place and good history

It's a great cellar. I liked the stuff they have, the circuit, the history about the family and the process. I would have liked to have a person guiding us through the place instead of a phone.

We visited the Taylor's winery to learn more about the famous Porto. The visit is interesting an audio guide in English is available. We had a good time visiting the cellars and learned a lot about how grapes are grown and turned into wine! Very interesting.

Mir wurde gesagt, wenn ich einen Keller besuchen würde, würde ich in Taylors Hafen gehen. Und so habe ich es gemacht. Audiophone Führung, wo ich viel über das Pflanzen und Ernten von Trauben gelernt habe, die Weinsorten, warum der Name Portwein und probierte zwei Arten: ein Weißwein ist ein Rotwein.

a little bit far away

We visited this wine cellar located in the Vila Nova de Gaia region. The basement is high up, which can make walking difficult. We went on foot and it was tiring but not impossible. The visit is made with audio guide and explains the history of Port wine very well. In the end, in a flower garden, and with the presence of the owner of the place - a beautiful peacock - the tasting closes the experience with a golden key.

Very interesting tour of Taylor in the city of Gaia. A guided audioguide that allows each one to go at their own pace. listening to the whole story of the winery. At the end there is a tasting of 2 types of Port wines. On sunny days, it is possible to taste the rose garden where beautiful loose peacocks live. The quality of the wines is unquestionable as they supply to the English royal house.
