On this walking tour, we will visit the most interesting points of the old area of Santiago de Compostela, immersing ourselves in its rich history and culture. We will visit its main squares and unique buildings. On this guided tour you will learn many interesting things about one of the most magical cities in Spain, centre of the largest pilgrimage network in the world, called the Camino de Santiago.

The tour is set to start at the Plaza del Obradoiro, right in front of the great Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, where the local tour expert will meet you and give a brief explanation about this important cathedral.

The second spot is the Plaza Platería, one of the famous squares surrounding the cathedral, where you will enjoy a nice explanation about Romanesque architecture. Proceeding to the third location, the Plaza Quintana, a square full of legends, stories and curiosities about Puerta Santa and the Monastery.

The following stoppage is the Plaza Inmaculada, another square near the cathedral, where you will be able to learn about the history of the Monastery of San Martín Pinario, the Azabache and so much more. The last place you will visit is the Abastos Market, the oldest and most famous food market in Santiago de Compostela.
