Full description

Departing from Santiago de Compostela, we will embark on a journey towards Ponte Maceira, a monumental complex formed by a primitive village, a chapel, a modern palace, and the great medieval bridge, built in the 13th century. We will continue along the main points of the Costa da Morte until the lighthouse of Cabo Finisterra.

On Costa da Morte, discover the remains of shipwrecks as you listen to the land of legends, inhabited by Celts who have left countless stories shrouded in mystery. The next stop is Muxía, where is the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Barca. This special sanctuary tells the legend of the arrival of the apostle James.

Enjoy lunch in the town of Finisterre, renowned for its quality seafood.

After lunch, we will go to Ézaro, where a beautiful waterfall hides. Marvel at the breathtaking scenery and the amazing Xallas River. The next stop will be Carnota, where the guide will tell you all about the granaries, a typical construction found throughout the region.

In this day trip along the Costa da Morte, our experienced guide will tell you the story behind the curious name, the history of Galicia and many other interesting facts.
