Discover the Rías Baixas on this full day guided tour. We will meet you in Santiago de Compostela and then take you on a journey through history, tradition, art and gastronomy.

Rias Baixas is a place known for its tradition in wine production as well as for its natural landscapes. On this tour, you will enjoy all the history of the villages on the Atlantic coast.

Leaving Santiago, we will arrive at the Wine Tasting, to enjoy 3 varieties of local wines accompanied by a local appetizer.

The tour then visits Illa da Toxa, where you will see the famous Capela das Cunchas, a chapel covered with scallop shells, and a bridge connecting O Grove with A Toxa. 

The excursion also includes a catamaran trip along the coast, in the Arosa estuary, to learn about the Galician mussel and how the bateas, artificial platforms used as shellfish hatcheries, work. We will take the opportunity to taste the local mussels accompanied by one of the best wines of the Albariño appellation.

Afterwards, we will visit the hermitage of La Lanzada, located on the same beach, which dates back to the 9th century. A natural beauty with breathtaking views of different Galician islands.

Finally, we will visit Combarro, one of the most beautiful villages in Galicia, located on the banks of the Pontevedra estuary and built on a giant granite slab.
