The tour was amazing, the guide was entertaining, and was able to make our day even more incredible with the information that was given. I did not get the meal pack, and the time to explore and have lunch for me was perfectly calculated. Évora is really lovely, its people really welcoming. The trip from Lisbon was comfortable and the guide João was very knowledgeable. The chapel is sinister but interesting. The wine was superb, very rich and flavorful. It's a good experience for history and wine lovers.

Relible company, Living Tours, always present since the booking to the final drop off in Lisbon. Well guided Tour with João, that was very funny and informed. Evora worths a visit. Not so big but with nice spots and friendly inhabitants. In the end we had the occasion to taste the Alentejo wine which is very good by the way. Thanks frommy and my friend Hank.

Die Kapelle der Knochen ist beeindruckend

Wir besuchten Evora aus Lissabon. Der Bus war komfortabel und die Gruppe war nicht sehr groß, was uns sehr gefiel. Der Reiseleiter war sehr hilfsbereit und brachte uns während der Reise zum Lachen, was gut für den Geist des Besuchs war. Ich mochte die verschiedenen Orte, wo wir von Evora gingen. Wir fanden es eine antike Stadt aus der Römerzeit. Am eindrucksvollsten war jedoch die Kapelle der Knochen. Völlig gefüllt mit Schädel- und Knochenskulpturen sieht es beängstigend aus und beeindruckt, wenn wir uns in der mittleren Kapelle fühlen. Es ist nicht zu groß, aber definitiv ein Ort, den ich nie vergessen werde. Eine Qualitätsreise.

Day trip and nightlife

Evora it´s a city with a lot of charm. Located south of Lisbon in a region called Alentejo, I thinks its the capital of this area. We departed from Lisbon which is about 1.30h or 2h and we visit the main spots like the romam temple of Diana, the Chapel of Bones, some sightseeing in the streets and the gothic Cathedral. Me and my husband liked it so much that we stay the night there, returning to Lisbon the next day, and it worth it. Big thanks to our guide that helped us finding accomodation after we change our plans.
