The celebration of my 48th birthday will be engraved in my memory and certainly in those who shared this celebration with me!

Last summer I was invited to participate in my college friend Daniela Sá's birthday at a beach bar, where family, friends from high school and college gathered, including myself!

What a great inspiration. After all, the best part of our lives are our human relationships that we create throughout our lives, those that we will remember forever. The best thing we can practice is our connection with friends and family, they are the bonds of affection and affection that connect us with others and with ourselves. Human beings were made to live and co-exist in society and celebrations and conviviality are a powerful source of emotions for our well-being. That's why we celebrate them vividly and frequently at the Living Tours Group.

So, inspired by Daniela's birthday, I decided to celebrate my birthday on the Living Cruise Party Boat, with my immediate family, primary school friends, high school friends and college friends! And how wonderful it was.

My first list was huge, I had 273 friends to invite! I had to make a considerable reduction to be able to put those closest to me on board the Living Cruise Party Boat with a capacity of 80 people.

College ended 24 years ago and many of us saw each other once or twice, today a little more often thanks to social media, but we physically have no interactions with those with whom we were very happy and we must keep these ties alive and active throughout of years.

I would have so many stories, fantastic and unforgettable moments shared with each of my friends who were with me celebrating my birthday. I am very grateful to everyone for this sharing, teachings and growth together that shaped me into the person I am today, thanks to all of you, family and friends.

I took the moment to thank my parents, for providing me with my childhood, the education and love they gave me, as well as all the teachings of values ​​and principles that became my beliefs and for which I am eternally grateful. I believe I inherited my talent for entrepreneurship from my father. From my mother I keep the rigor, determination, focus and fighting for everything I want and want. Since the 5th year of schooling, I have been forced to enroll at school on my own. I went up and down the paths and roads to the school, returning many times to sign the documents and make corrections. But today I thank you for the rigor and firmness that was my education! You can! Go out there and do it, this is for you! This was and continues to be the principle I use for everything I have done and do in life!

Donation to the Campanhã Youth Center

When I received a message on Messenger from my friend Susana Fonseca, asking me to let Sofia access her messages, something she doesn't do regularly. But I realized that the theme should be a birthday gift! It is cultural to go to a birthday party and bring a gift.

At that moment I remembered Meninos Orfãos de Campanhã – Centro Juvenil de Campanhã, a 210-year-old institution, which Living Tours supports monthly under our LivingTourianos Com Causa 1X1 program, where we donate a meal for each tourist who participates in our tours. own operation.

I sent a message to all 80 friends who were invited with the institution's IBAN and informed them that if they wanted to give me a gift, this would be the best way to do so. We informed the institution that they would receive donations with my name on it on my birthday.

I want to tell you how wonderful it was on my birthday, receiving on my social networks this wonderful thank you gift from the children of the Centro Juvenil de Campanhã, with this photo on the cover of this article, the best gift I have ever received in a birthday.

In addition to this wonderful gesture that filled my heart, on the morning of my birthday I also had a visit from the CJC management, with a gift of a birthday cake, a certificate of thanks and a mural with the following message:

The continued support received from Living Tours, in the person of Rui Terroso, has been extraordinary, allowing us to carry out countless projects and activities for our children and young people hosted. We are immensely grateful and with a full heart for all the generosity and affection on this journey of ours.

Funnily enough, when I sent the message to my friends with the information about the CJC institution, I received a message back that said: “I even got goosebumps”. The reason was because this friend of mine's father was admitted to this institution when he was a child. Words for what! This institution was created when the Ferry Bridge fell during the Napoleonic invasions and since then has provided an invaluable service to the community. A big congratulations to the entire management and team at CJC for the excellent work they do for our society.

I also took the opportunity to thank my Rocha, my safe haven, my girlfriend, wife, lover and mother of my two sons Salvador and Bernardo. Sofia has dedicated herself body and soul to our family and this has allowed me to dedicate myself 24 hours a day, for over 20 years and 100% to the Living Tours Group.
