We start this full day tour in Braga, the 2000-year-old city! 

Visit the historical center and travel back in time with the Romain atmosphere! Get to know the importance of Braga during the Roman Empire, 2000 years ago, up to the present days, being the region’s capital city.

Explore the medieval streets, appreciate baroque façades and its beautiful gardens, such as Santa Barbara Garden. During the morning, we'll visit the Sanctuaries of Sameiro and Bom Jesus including a ride on the Funicular (water moved) !

Lunch is included at a local restaurant, take this time to delight yourself with Portuguese gastronomy!

For the afternoon, we'll have a visit to Guimarães, declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001, the quaint city of Guimarães is one of Portugal’s most important historical destinations. Portugal’s first king, Afonso Henriques, chose this city to be the administrative capital of the Portuguese kingdom after his victory at the Battle of São Mamede in 1128.

Known as the birthplace of the nation, Guimarães is a fascinating place to visit, with its proud castle and well-preserved medieval quarter.
