Do a private tour in Lisbon, the cosmopolitan capital city of Portugal, planted on the banks of the Tagus River.
We suggest you visit and explore one of the most incredible areas, Belém, where you can breathe history and heritage. A neighborhood dedicated to the Age of the Portuguese Discoveries, with emblematic monuments such as the Jerónimos Monastery, the Belém Tower and the Padrão dos Descobrimentos. Here you will also find the Palace of Belém, the official residence of the current President of the Republic, the Coach Museum, and the Monument of Santa Cruz, in honor of the first South Atlantic air crossing piloted by Gago Coutinho and Sacadura Cabral.
Be sure to taste the famous Pastéis de Belém at the Fábrica dos Pastéis de Belém, a centenary pastry shop that still moves with the will of the first members of the family to keep the place genuine.
If you have time, take the opportunity to climb onto the terrace of MAAT (Museum of Art, Architecture, and Technology, which won the prize for Best Museum of Architecture of the Year in 2017), one of Lisbon's most instagramable points, and take impressive photos of the 25th of April Bridge, with the Christ the King Monument looking out over the river.
Stop at the docks for lunch, and enjoy the meal while enjoying the view by the river.
In the center of Lisbon, we recommend a panoramic visit of the downtown and hill of St George's Castle, passing through the viewpoints of Portas do Sol - with magnificent views of Alfama, the Monastery of St Vincent and the Pantheon - and Santa Luzia, and the Cathedral of Lisbon.
If you prefer, instead of downtown and central Lisbon, you can visit the Parque das Nações, a more modern area where you can find the Oceanarium, the Lisbon Casino, the Oriente Station - designed by the architect Calatrava and the Vasco da Gama shopping mall. From there it has great visibility to the Vasco da Gama Bridge, the longest bridge in Europe and one of the most extensive in the world.
