2024 is a big year for Living Tours as it celebrates its 20th anniversary! To start the celebrations in style, we reveal our latest 30-seat MINIBUS.

When founding Living Tours, I went against everyone's advice and on paper they were right. They knew we would be a small Tour company against much bigger players.

But my message is that if you can create something that is better than what others are offering, then you have a chance of success. Living Tours was created to offer a bright red, fun, friendly and fabulous choice that makes Tours better for everyone.

In 2004, we designed all the things we could do differently, from our 9-seater Mercedes Sprinter Vehicle, our in-person service centers, our welcoming and receiving experience and, most importantly, our people. Now, 20 years later, this rebellious spirit lives on and will continue to drive us as we shake up the Tour Operation industry over the next 20 years and beyond.

With the addition of 7 new MINIBUSES, we will reach Living Tours' twentieth MINIBUS and will enter service in phases, between March and June. It will also feature a new color and design, inspired by the rebellious spirit that has always led Living Tours to do things differently.

The design has a distinct style, reflecting the iconic Living Tours red, rather than the burgundy used in recent years, moving to Living red and decorating all of our areas of activity, from Living Cruise, to Living Tuk Tuk, to Living Tours and the various regions where we operate with our Tour Operation.

This will be an exciting addition to our regular tour operating fleet of 20 30-seater MiniBuses in 2024 and 34 9-seater Mercedes Vito and V-class vehicles! This upgrade represents not only an increase in tour operation capacity, but also a renewal in the quality and comfort we offer our guests.

Each MiniBus has been carefully designed to ensure that all passengers have an exceptional travel experience, marked by comfort, safety and cutting-edge technology, including individual cell phone chargers as well as free Wi-Fi on board.

We are committed to providing unforgettable experiences through our tours, and the arrival of these new vehicles is a significant step in that direction. Twenty years ago, Living Tours transported our first clients to the city of Porto with a Porto City Tour, offering something different and fulfilling our purpose of ensuring that everyone can discover the best we have, are and know how to do in Portugal and later extended to Spain. As we prepare to celebrate our anniversary in July, it's an opportunity to look ahead to the next twenty years.

It all started in my imagination, in the 2000s, with the vision of revolutionizing the travel industry, putting people first and giving customers a differentiating choice.

Our rebellious spirit has always led us to do things differently. And the best is yet to come.

When Living Tours was launched in 2004, the first vehicle, a Mercedes Sprinter, made a half-day Porto City Tour, a distinctive visit to the historical and cultural heritage, bringing a red glow to the city. This recent, modern fleet symbolizes our desire to continue doing things differently. Our focus has always been to offer the best customer experience in a brilliantly different way.

From being the first Tours company to introduce the first vehicle with a 2+2+2+3 seating arrangement, allowing an easy access corridor for all guests to enter and exit throughout the day without disturbing other guests, creating the first Wine Tour in the Douro valley, offering the first in-person service point - Tourist Service, a private tourist information office in Porto 2006 and later in Lisbon 2011, until introducing the offer of a free water service in our operation, to have the 1st certificate of a sustainable Tours company by Biosphere Portugal and we are currently in the process of certification by BCorp, to be the 1st company in Portugal with a fleet of 100% electric Tukl Tuks, creating the first Party Boat with Regular shared onboard DJ in Portugal, Living Tours and its team continue to challenge the status quo.
