Be Bold, Creative and Open-Minded
At Living, we think it's important for people, and for the company as a whole, to be bold and bold (but not reckless).
We want people not to be afraid of taking risks, nor afraid of making mistakes, because if they aren't making mistakes, it means they aren't taking enough risks.
As time goes by, we want everyone to develop their business decision courage.
We want people to develop and improve their decision-making skills.
We encourage them to make mistakes, as long as they learn from them.
We never wanted to become complicit and accept the status quo, just because that's the way things have always been done. We should always be looking for adventure and having fun exploring new possibilities.
Because we have the freedom to be creative with our solutions, we explore new possibilities. We approach situations and challenges with an open mind.
Sometimes, our sense of boldness and creativity makes us unconventional in our solutions - because we have the freedom to think in an unconventional way - but this is what allows us to grow and stay ahead of the competition.
At Living, like all core values – being creatively adventurous and open-minded – is not a recommendation, it's the way we live.
And if you feel like you can't apply this or another core value to the traditionally dull, politically correct, and boring departments of the company, consider whether this should be your future.
Let employees take risks and try new things. Some will work and some won't, and that's okay.
Let your employees bring their all to work.
You might have a surprisingly talented CFO who is also a rocker – let him or her find an outlet for that passion at work too.
I think that when people say they dread going to work on Monday mornings, it's because they're leaving a piece of themselves at home.
Why not see what happens when we challenge our employees to bring all of their talent to work and reward them not just for doing it like everyone else, but for going beyond commonly accepted boundaries, to be audacious and have the open mind and try new things?
So you see there's always a happy ending, right?
Did you like it?
