Come what may! But Act

Whatever happens? Inhale. Where do you want to go? Inhale. How do you behave in the face of what you want? How do you channel energy to achieve what you want?

Let's say, for example, that you need your employees to be aligned with your strategy or way of thinking. If the way you behave in a situation is not encouraging, you will hardly get a good result.

Lead by example. Increasingly, true leaders must demonstrate more attitude and less talk.

In the corporate world, unfortunately, we still see very institutionalized postures. This kind of freedom no longer has a place in the present.

Currently, what matters is how much Rui, José and Mónica inspire others to follow them. How much its presence and proximity to the areas in which it wants to work make it able to legitimize its position.

In short, inspiration depends on your example. Lead by Example.

What do you do to make it clear what you really want and how much support your speech in the real and practical world?

Increasingly, leaders sustain themselves by being sources of inspiration and by legitimizing their positions through action. I still see many executives falling into contradiction because they cannot sustain, on a day-to-day basis, any of their points of contact.

I take extreme care in feeding my own positive restlessness. This restlessness is a very powerful fuel for our business and for my personal and professional fulfillment.

Is that you? How do you fuel your courage? How do you treat what you consider vital?

It is important to have the disposition and attitude to face new moments. Initiative to enter new projects. If there is good planning, even if it is difficult and winding, don't waste the opportunity for growth for lack of courage. Shoot yourself.

Naturally, whenever I reveal my courageous side, when I step outside of the obvious, there is a certain fear. But feeling scared is normal and it's good. Fear works as a means of weighting, of reflection, which is fundamental for not taking unnecessary risks, for taking calculated risks.

What you should never do is feed your fear with insecurity, uncertainty and victimization if you don't want to see it grow into a monster capable of destroying your ability to act.

Fortunately, each of us has a particular trigger that encourages us to take the first step. There is no magic formula, there is no medicine that awakens the courageous professional that exists in you. But it is important to find out what your key is, your ignition. The way you nurture your vital courage makes all the difference.

So come what may, but act! Don't be paralyzed. No matter what happens, act!

It takes that courage, regardless of what you see on the other side of the window. It's no use waiting for a favorable environment to act. You will not always be fully prepared. Things will not be neatly arranged in place when you need to take the initiative.

While you waste time trying to create the ideal setting for the jump, many people will already be moving forward and taking the lead. Be sure of that.

For those who intend to undertake, it is equally important to nurture vital courage. The good entrepreneur is driven by the urge to believe he can. To move the most difficult turnstiles in the business.

In my case, what fuels my vital courage is to face the most complex scenarios. If I have to follow a unique routine, always on the same beat, without major challenges, I feel discouraged.

I always need provocative environments. They are my trigger.
