The famous Maria Luisa park owes its name to the infanta, who donated it to the city of Seville at the end of the 19th century. The Infanta Maria Luisa Fernanda, Duchess of Montpesier.

This park gathers gardens, lakes, fountains, palaces, museums, and squares, as is the case of the well-known Plaza de España. This square was built to be the stage of the Ibero-American exhibition that took place in 1929.

With our guide, you will not miss the landscapes and architectural details and many curiosities of this wonderful place and all its history.

The whole park has an area of 340.000m2, an excellent place to breathe fresh air in the heart of the city of Seville.

The tour started at the beautiful María Luisa Park, which was like a green paradise in the middle of the city. Even though the sun was really strong, the park's shady spots and pretty gardens made it cool and enjoyable. Next, we visited Plaza de España, a stunning place with cool bridges and a half-circle building. It was so impressive! Our guide, who was a local expert, made the tour even better. Nice experience, I recommend!

He had a two hours walking through the Maria Luisa and we visit the famous Plaza de Espana which is on the park actually. Yes one can do this by itself, but with the guide the visit is much more it is much more complete. Surely deserves the price. And the places are simply mandatóry if you are in Seville.
