Full description

Come and enjoy the most rural and industrial views of the Basque country, and the unique Basilica of Loyola! In this tour, you will learn everything about the roots of the founder of the Jesuits, Saint Ignatius of Loyola.

The route begins at 09h00 from the center of Bilbao, and we will go directly towards Guipúzcoa, through Eibar, Elgoibar, Azkoitia, and Loyola

In Loyola, in the municipality of Azpetia, we will visit the Sanctuary of Loyola, a major attraction of tourists and pilgrims. Discover the spectacular Basilica and see the house where this Jesuit priest was born.

Later, we will visit the Getaria. It will surprise you: in this fishing village, feel the essence of the sailors' identity that goes back hundreds of years!

We will have free time to visit this charming fishing village located on a mountain slope very fertile, with the Arch of Catrapona, a medieval passageway beneath the church with a chapel for sailors, the parish church of San Salvador.

Then, let yourself relax and enjoy the gastronomy at Zarauz, one of the most popular summer locations in the Basque Country and reference point for international Surf championships.

Finally, we will arrive in San Sebastian. This city totally is a surprise box: cosmopolitan, modern, and with a strong personality!

The Old Quarter will simply enchant you - there you can find the most important and emblematic monuments of the city. We will do a comprehensive scenic tour to appreciate some monuments, La Concha beach and climb Mount Igueldo, overlooking the bay.
