Full description

An excursion that will allow you to know in one day some of the most emblematic places and unparalleled beauty of the Costa Brava, as well as having the chance to visit the Dalí Theater-Museum in Figueras.

We will take the highway and at 09:45 we will arrive at Calella de Palafrugell, a small fishing village of great beauty both in architecture and landscape, all dotted with small coves. We will have free time to visit the town, enjoy the scenery and take out some excellent photographs. At the indicated time, we will start an itinerary on foot along the Camino de Ronda, which will take us to the neighboring town of Llafranc. It is also another small, elegant and captivating seaside town, with all the charms of the towns of this coast.

Our next stop will be Pals, a town located in the interior and on the top of a hill. The town is integrated almost entirely within a striking medieval set. The enclosure is crowned by a cylindrical tower of the 12th century, visible from afar and which is offered as a wide terrace with unbeatable panoramic views of the Costa Brava and its surroundings. Go back in time!

At the agreed time we will meet the guide and again on the bus, we will go to Figueras. Once there we will have free time to eat, and at the set time we will visit the Theatre-Museum Dalí that houses the largest art collection representing the artistic evolution of Salvador Dalí, from its origins to its artistic maturity considered the summit of Spanish surrealism.

The museum is located in what had been the old village that Dalí knew from his childhood. The building was seriously damaged during the Civil War and remained in ruins until 1960 when Dalí chose it as the seat of his museum. After a short introduction about the history of the museum and the life and career of Dalí, you will have free time to visit it on your own with tranquility and also visit the town of Figueras. At the set time we will take the bus back to the center of Barcelona.
