This route starts at the emblematic Marinha Beach, considered one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Europe and one of the 100 most beautiful in the world.

There is the option, if requested by a group, to start the walk at Praia do Vale de Centeanes in the direction of Praia da Marinha.

This walk is done along the cliffs of the beaches, the views are breathtaking. The difficulty level is medium and the route is 12 km long, (6 going / 6 coming).

The 7 Hanging Valleys trail was recently considered as the best walking destination in Europe.

The stipulated route is as follows: Marinha Beach - Mesquita Beach - Mesquita Beach (East) - Cão Raivoso Beach - Corredoura Beach - Benagil Beach - Carvalho Beach - Vale Espinhaço Beach - Vale Centeanes Beach (or you can do it the other way round).

Wow! This route exceeded all my expectations. The starting point at Marinha Beach set the tone for a day filled with natural beauty. The 7 Hanging Valleys trail truly deserves its reputation as the best walking destination in Europe. The views from the cliffs were absolutely awe-inspiring, and the route took me to some hidden gems like Vale Centeanes Beach and Corredoura Beach. The 12 km walk was a perfect balance of challenge and reward. A must-do for nature lovers!

Great time
I had the most incredible experience walking along this route. Starting at the stunning Marinha Beach, the views along the cliffs were absolutely breathtaking. The medium difficulty level was just right, offering a good challenge without being too strenuous. The 12 km route took me through some of the most picturesque beaches, like Mesquita Beach, Benagil Beach, and Carvalho Beach. I highly recommend this trail to anyone looking for a memorable hiking adventure in the Algarve!
