The Douro is a region in northern Portugal known for its scenic beauty, rich history, and world-renowned wine production. The region is located along the Douro River, which stretches from the Spanish border to the city of Porto, where it meets the Atlantic Ocean.

On this tour you will have the opportunity to embark on a cruise for up to 18 persons from Pinhão to Tua; after that, have lunch in a traditional restaurant of the region and enjoy the best views that the Douro Valley has to offer; in the early afternoon, you can return by train to Pinhão (additional cost, please read additional information) to enjoy the rest of the day. The tour is always accompanied by a guide in Portuguese and English, who will help you in any way necessary.

fantastic experience
This cruise from Pinhão to Tua is amazing, I guess it the most beatiful part of Douro Vally, landscapes are incredible! The boat ride is relaxing, and the staff is very very nice. At the lunch, they served delicious local food and great wine. Definitely recommend!

Good lunch, cruise trip and train
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a Douro River cruise in the Douro Valley with lunch and return by train, and it was an amazing day trip that I will never forget. fantastic way to know douro in some hours
I recently went on a Douro River cruise in the Douro Valley with lunch and return by train, and it was a fantastic experience. The cruise took us through the stunning terraced vineyards and historic estates of the Douro Valley, and the views were breathtaking. The lunch onboard was delicious, featuring traditional Portuguese cuisine and wine from the region. The knowledgeable guides provided interesting insights into the history and production of Port wine, making it an educational experience as well. The return journey by train was also a highlight of the trip, as it allowed us to take in even more of the region's beauty. The train ride offered additional views of the Douro River and surrounding landscapes, as well as glimpses of quaint villages and towns.
