Produced exclusively in the Vinho Verde Demarcated Region, it is an incredibly light and fresh wine, the perfect companion for a summer afternoon! Produced between the Douro River and Minho River, owns a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) dating back to 1908.

As soon as you embark on this sensorial experience, you will never get tired of it. Portugal is well known for its unique aromatized wines. Give it a chance, you surely will not regret it!

Begin this full-day wine adventure with a pick up at your accommodation in a comfortable air-conditioned minibus.

The first stop will be at Quinta do Soalheiro, pioneers in the creation of Alvarinho wine in Melgaço, and an international reference for wines of this variety. Soalheiro is located in the center of the Monção and Melgaço valley.
The Soalheiro brand was distinguished among the 50 best wine tourism experiences in the world for the World's Best Vineyards for the second consecutive year. You can enjoy a wonderful lunch followed by a wine pairing at this exquisite estate.

After discovering this true national treasure, it's time to visit another renowned Wine Estate, Quinta do Aemeal (Esporão).
Located in the Lima river valley, 15 minutes away from the center of Ponte Lima, this property has been making history since the year 1710.
The quinta has 30 ha, 14 of which are vines of the Loureiro variety. Over time, they have become pioneers in the production of white wines from this variety.
A wine tasting experience is included.

By the end of this full-day wine tour, your guide will drive you back to Porto and your drop off is at your accomodation.

Wonderful tour!

We had a wonderful tour guided by Gonçalo. Wines from both Vinho Verde wineries (Soalheiro & Quinta do Ameal) were brilliant, and the tours were very informative and we got to learn a lot about the region and winemaking. Also, we had a delicious lunch at Soalheiro while overlooking an amazing view of Minho River Valley! Our guide Gonçalo was professional, informative, and nice guy, and we enjoyed spending time with him. I would definitely recommend this tour.

The flavours of green wine

My husband Fernando is Portuguese and although we live in Miami we go whenever we can to visit Portugal. Fernando was born in Felgueiras, land of green wines, and this year we took the opportunity to make a tour to get to know this kind of wines better. The green wine (or vinho verde in portuguese) it´s a unique kind of wines produced only in the north of Portugal. It´s the soil and clima that allows it´s production. Some facts that I learn: green wine is not green. there are red or white green wines and even rose. usually lighter than other wines it can taste a bit acid in the beginning. the quality and diversity of the green wines increase a lot in the last 15-20 years and it´s becoming knowm for wine lovers all over the world. It was agood idea to make this tour in private, without confusions, and our expert guide took us to 2 wine estates and gave good advice on the tastings. I think Fernando was proud with this experience and happy that I enjoyed so much.
