Lovely evening. Everything was perfect. There were 3 single women, one French one Spanish and me. We had a great time

Nice effort but disappointing.

The Fado show was good, not as good as I have seen before but worth it for sure. The classical guitar was excellent. The restaurant was charming and service was great. My food was pork, spinach and potatoes and was completely cold. Could not eat it because of the temperature which was a shame since I love all three foods. Our city tour was totally disappointing. The guide was knowledgeable and charming but also complained about traffic. I don’t want to hear that. We basically drove fast past too many sights and didn’t pause to talk about any of them or why they matter. From the bus you can only see the first story of any building so a quick drive by is useless. Way too many places to see in 40 minutes and it felt like a crazy carnival ride instead of a tour. I got nauseous which never happens to me. I think the tour would be better with five sights described in more detail. My husband and I were disappointed.

Lovely Fado Tour

Chose hotel pickup. We were only eight from the Canary Islands, Argentina and the USA. Tour guide switched beautifully between the three languages. City tour was more of getting through traffic but with a stop for pictures at the lookout point at the e nd of the S. Luis bridge. FADO eestaurant was cozy (only room for 35 people including the 4 musicians), good atmosphere and accoustics. The two singers and the guitaristas, one played the traditional mandolin-like portuguese guitar, were experienced and obviously loved their music. A lovely eve ning.

It was really a great idea to start our stay in Porto

Since we arrived a bit late in town, it was raining a lot, so it was perfect to have this car (protected!) tour, the guide was very interesting and his french quite good! We had a good opportunity to have a first look at the city, take some pics of the bridge, got drenched (!), and arrived the last ones at the clube de fado. I think they actually waited for us since the show started 5mn after our arrival Meals and service were great, I think we had a table very close to the artist and a sample of the main meals as well as a special entrée! The porto wine was excellent as well Location is perfect, very close to our appartment to go back after (with the driver), and I was expecting a big group restaurant as I experienced in Lisboa, but this was very authentic, only a dozen of tables, and was great to get plunged in Porto atmosphere directly on the first day!

We were very well received by the guide. The city at night is simply bright, wonderful! The dinner was good and Fado Show was dazzling , sung live brings emotion, we love it. Very pleasant night
