Daily from April to October at 9 AM.

November to March: Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 9 AM.

Until 31 March 2019:

Madrid shows the multiple contrasts inherited through the History. You will be able to find the medieval origins of the city, like the Arabic fortress, at the Barrio de la Morería, characterized by the antiquity of its buildings and the taste of its typical restaurants.

We will also cover the Hapsburg Madrid of Felipe II, with its Renaissance and Baroque buildings walking and making pictures on Calle Mayor, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de la Villa. Then, we will also see the Bourbon Madrid and the urban layout made by Carlos III, the Royal Palace, the Cibeles Fountain, Neptune Fountain, and the Puerta de Alcalá. We will also visit the works from the kingdom of Joseph Bonaparte on the 19th century, such as Prado Museum. We will get to know the contemporary Madrid on areas such as Gran Vía, Paseo de la Castellana, Barrio Salamanca, Plaza de Castilla, and Parque del Oeste, as well as the commercial and financial areas of Modern Madrid, like the emblematic Ventas Bullring or Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. We will also stop at the famous Hard Rock Café, where you will enjoy a free drink.

The tour will continue with El Prado Museum visit. The building that today houses the Museo Nacional del Prado was designed by architect Juan de Villanueva in 1785. It was constructed to house the Natural History Cabinet, by orders of King Charles III. However, the building's final purpose - as the new Royal Museum of Paintings and Sculptures - was the decision of the monarch's grandson, King Ferdinand VII, encouraged by his wife Queen Maria Isabel de Braganza.

You just can't skip this Madrid Half Day Tour with entrance to the famous Padro Museum!

From 01 April 2019:

Our tour will start with us going to the Plaza del Oriente, then we will arrive at the Templo de Debod where we will make a stop to walk and take some pictures accompanied by our guide. After this visit, we will return to our bus to go to the Plaza Mayor where we will make a new stop. Visit the Plaza de la Villa and the Puerta del Sol. Just precious!

We will return to the bus to continue getting to know Madrid, exploring different important sites: the Carrera de San Jerónimo, Las Cortes, Plaza from Neptune, Paseo Del Prado, Atocha Station, Botanical Gardens of Madrid, Plaza de Cibeles, Calle Alcalá, Puerta de Alcalá and Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas. Are you ready to discover all the secrets and the History behind all these imposing buildings? Stop to observe them closely!

We will finish seeing the Santiago Stadium Bernabéu, Paseo de la Castellana, Plaza Colón, National Bookstore, Gran Vía Street, Plaza de España and we will finish in Plaza de Oriente.

There will be stops in the Plaza Mayor, the Templo de Debod and in the Plaza de Toros to walk and take pictures, whenever time permits and in the company of the guide. Ask all your questions: discover the best of Madrid!

Keep in mind that the itinerary can be altered by events or celebrations in the city (cultural events, sporting events, official events or works).

The tour will continue with El Prado Museum visit.

The visit will be made in chronological order: Beginning with the room where the masterpieces of J. Bosch (El Bosco) (1450-1516) are exhibited: The table of the 7 deadly sins, The hay cart, The temptations of San Antonio, The stone of madness and The garden of the Delights.

To continue with the rooms dedicated to El Greco (1540-1614): The Knight with the Hand on His Chest, The Trinity, The Christ Embraced the Cross and The Annunciation.

Velázquez (1599-1660): Adoration, The drunks, Equestrian Portraits, The forge of Vulcano, the Christ, The Spinners, The Spears, and Meninas.

Finalizing with Goya (1746-1828): the family of Carlos IV, the portraits, the executions of May 2, the pestles and the black paintings.
