Starting at 08H00.

01 Nov - 31 Mar: Mon. and Fri. |  from Apr: Mon., Wed., Fri., and Sat.

Start your full day trip from Barcelona with a comfortable bus and guide on board to one of the biggest cities in the North of Barcelona: Girona, monumental city, one of the best-preserved Jewish quarters in Europe and scenario where one season of the famous show "Game of Thrones" was filmed. Are you a fan of this stunning HBO show? Explore the scenarios of Game of Thrones in Girona!

We will visit the historical city of Girona, one of the most interesting in Catalonia, which allows you to explore more than 2000 years of History from two fortified enclosures: “Força Vella” (a kind of Acropolis) and the “Ensanche Medieval” (in English: Medieval Widening). The first corresponds to the Roman Foundation, and the second, the extension of the walls during the 14th and 15th centuries.

The many monuments that have reached our days retained remarkable artistic riches. The appeal of Girona is completed with the suggestive Jewish quarter, or Call, the beautiful streets and arcaded squares, the Cathedral, the exultant Baroque spaces, Rafael Masó’s Noucentists constructions and the famous pastel-colored houses on the banks of the river.

After, you will be given some free time in Girona to continue exploring the city as you prefer. Choose your favorite attractions and live this stunning medieval city.

Our Girona Tour will finish at Carrer Balmes, in Barcelona, where the second part of the tour departs.

Departure time 15h00.

It includes a ride in the Cogwheel Train.

Montserrat is a rock formation, located 50km south-west of Barcelona, traditionally considered the most important and significant mountain in Catalonia. In 1987 Montserrat was declared a natural park to guarantee its conservation.

The importance of the mountain is due to the legend that tells the miraculous apparition of the Virgin with the baby Jesus in one of the caves of the mountain. This image of the Virgin is popularly known as "La Moreneta" because of its dark color, the result of the transformation of the varnish over time, and is considered the patron saint of Catalonia. It is for this reason that in addition to the main monastery of Santa Maria de Montserrat, which we will have occasion to visit, the mountain hosts a large number of small churches and hermitages. Let yourself be amazed by its interior!

During the first part of the tour, we will make a guided tour to get an explanation of various aspects of the mountain, as well as the monastery. In addition, the tour includes a tasting of four typical liqueurs from the area and a visit to the Audiovisual Space. Once the guided tour is over, we will have free time to admire the fabulous landscape that this unique spot offers, visit the artisan food market, visit the audiovisual space, and taste the typical liquors.
