Full description

From Seville, we will go to the Strait of Gibraltar at 7 am for a two-hour journey, which will take us to Tarifa, through the Los Alcornocales Natural Park, a step away from the African continent! Tangier and Morocco are barely at 13km from Tarifa.

After taking the ferry, we will reach Morocco in less than an hour. Then, we will enter a minibus to discover the outskirts of the city. We will stop at Cape Spartel, located next to the Atlantic Ocean, and at the mythical Cave of Hercules, one of the most popular attractions in Tangier, named in homage to the Greek hero Heracles (Hercules in Roman mythology) and we will have the opportunity to ride a camel - the true Moroccan experience! After this panoramic tour, we will go to the center of the city where our local guide will lead us through the alleys of the Medina, the old town, for several hours, to visit and discover the most picturesque and famous monuments of Tangier.

Tangier is home to a huge cultural and historical legacy, halfway between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Meanwhile, we will enjoy a typical Moroccan lunch: delicious. Later, our guided tour will continue to this city that hides a cosmopolitan scent, joining the cultures of Africa and Europe. The visitors can enjoy this entire multicultural environment. The two cultures live and coexist in the same time and space, which is fascinating to see and feel.

After our long visit will arrive at the hotel where we will have free time to relax or to enjoy the nightlife of the city. Succumb to the magic of Tangier in the evening.

The next morning we will take our breakfast at the hotel and will have the morning free to walk, to shopping, visiting monuments or other free activities. In the afternoon, we will return to the Port of Tangier. There, will go towards Seville, where we arrive at about 22.30 pm.

Thank you Living Tours for this fantastic trip to Tangier
We made this trip in the 17th of March to spend 2 days in another continent in a city which lives in the crossroads between European and Moroccan cultures, Africa and Europe, and the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. Tangier is a modern city that crosses Moroccan and European culture and a place where many speak Spanish and even English. After visiting Cape Spartel, you will pass through an area full of luxurious houses which reminded us of Hollywood's Mulholland drive. It is the modern part of Tangiers, where are embassies and houses of personalities. And, from there, the districts of different nationalities like the American quarter, the English, the Italian and the Spanish neighborhoods. We crossed the whole bay to go to a promontory overlooking the sea. It was a windy day, but the view made up for it. To this side of the bay of Tangier is where are the luxury hotels, the casino and other infrastructures waiting for tourists. Situated on Cape Spartel, the caves of Hercules are natural limestone caves. The guide Rasheed said that it was here that Hercules rested after having completed his 12 works. Very nice to have free time there to explore the caves on our own. Then we went to explore the old city with its Medina, and the Great Suk is the most frequented place of the city. It is here that you can find the former residence of the representative of the Sultan and the Gardens of Mendoubia. Rasheed adapted the walking pace to the group all the time and we progressed to visit the Kasbah (the ancient fortress and the soul of Tangier). In Kasbah Square we found the palace of the sultan "Dar El Mekhzen", which houses a museum dedicated to the Moroccan arts. For shopping there where many shops here you have everything from clothing to lamps, carpets to bags, footwear, and everything else. We could go on for hours here as it was a great 2 days journey and an unforgettable experience in Morocco.

Consiglio vivamente questo tour di 2 giorni a Tangeri
Un'attività di molte ore ma molto ben coordinata. Le guide sia in Spagna che in Marocco sono eccellenti

Nice 2 day experience in Morocco
The trip was nice. The guides both in Spain and in Morocco were great: very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. Only that in Tangier gave me the impression of somewhat a commercial tour that show you things to buy, but we saw the more interesting parts of the city, the lovely beaches near Tangier and had free time in the Hercules Cave. In the walkings, the guide adapted to the velocity of the group, which was a very nice detail. Loved the Sultan palace :)
