Full description

From Lisbon, we will head south by the 25th April Bridge – the famous “red bridge” – to the Setúbal Peninsula, a quieter region with a charm and jaw-dropping scenery. This Peninsula has a lot to offer and amazes both tourists and inhabitants due to its intimate connection to Nature

Visit the Sesimbra Castle, also known as Moorish Castle, located in a strategic point and it was important for the defense of early Portugal. Visitors can have magnificent panoramic views of the village and the surrounding coastline.

Our tour continues to Azeitão. There, we can visit the famous JMF Wine Cellar (José Maria da Fonseca). JMF was the first table wine producer in Portugal and is one of the most emblematic wines in Portugal, with over 100 years. At this place, we will have the opportunity to have a wine tasting experience.

Then, we will travel across the exuberant Arrábida Mountain, integrated into the Nature Park of Arrábida, known for its superb views over the Atlantic Ocean. The flora and fauna are much diversified there. It transmits a magical and special spirit to everyone that visits this charming natural place.

We will also have time to make a panoramic visit to Setúbal, which combines the Past and the Present, the History and Modernity.

On the way back to Lisbon, we will cross Vasco da Gama Bridge, a cable-stayed bridge overlooking the Tagus River and the longest one in Europe

Tour to Arrábida
The guide made us discover the natural park and shared their passion for this region still wild with a lot of kindness and erudition. A pleasant hike from beach to beach, punctuated by panoramas. Thank you from Bombaim to Portugal.

Very good
Fantastische tour

Arrabida Mountain from Lisbon
Very friendly tour guides and comfortable bus. If you love nature and wine, this is the tour for you. The mountain is just astonishing, with really breath-taking views and the beaches are amazing. The wine cellar visit was interesting but could be a bit better organized. All in all, it was a perfect day!

Relaxing wine tour
This was a relaxing wine tour, that started very well since our group was all in good mood and our guide, Ana, talked with passion about the places we pass through. I think she born in Setubal. We visit the moorish castle of Sesimbra and we tasted excelent wines at JMF wine cellar. Both red and white. I liked more the red and we buy a couple of bottles to rake home. In the arrabida we took a lot of photos since it offer nice views and some wild animal life. It was a good experience.
Setubal it´s still a non-touristic area
Besides crossing the longest bridge in europe, the beautifull nature and greats views in serra da arrabida, the wine tastings was to listen and talk with the people we found, simple folks but with a great sense of hospitality, that showed us this part of Portugal it´s still not very touristic and quite diferent from all the sophisticated Lisbon. The trip was enjoyable and the guide was fluent in english wich helped. Obrigada :).
Nature and wine
It´s a good tour to do if you like nature and wine tastings like us. It´s not far from Lisbon and its a half day well spent. The Arrabida it´s a worth to see, a lot of animal species, flamboyant birds, and panoramic. The wine from the region of setubal surprise us for it´s worked flavour, which is dificult since we already know douro and alentejo wines. They also show us how the vyneards are made and what is the wine composition.
