Full description

Finisterre, or Fisterra in Galician, is a municipality of A Coruña. Located at Cape Finisterre, it is considered by many the true final point of the St. James Way, attracting thousands of pilgrims every year. The cape is part of the Death Coast (Costa da Morte) and one of the most western points in Galicia, giving origin to its name "Fisterra", which means "Land's End" in Latin.

Our visit departs from Santiago de Compostela before the sunset hour and takes you to this special place, frequented in ancient times by Romans and Celts, to admire the golden hour.

We will also visit the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Barca in Muxia.

The sunset in Finisterre is known as one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. From a privileged point of view, you'll enjoy the sight of the warm colors extending through the incredible scenery of sea and land. Feel the magic of this unique event and hear stories and legends associated with nature.

It will be an unforgettable experience!

Sunset and miths
This a great tour if you like sunsets and ancient stories. The places we have been have some sort of energy that touch us. We are at one of the mos western points of all Europe and to contemplate the sea and the amazing colours of the sky its a great experience. One can do this by walk but I prefer this trip because it´s more comfortable and I wanted to know the miths (iberian, roman, celts) that are part of it.

Sunset at Finisterre
Very beautifull sunset from a great point of view. we leave Santiago in the afternoon and the bus trip was confortable and enjoyable listening the stories of Carmen, our guide. The colours of the sunset were really special and I felt almost between earth and heaven. Highly recomended.

Galicia tour with a fluent guide in english
This tour can be very special if you go with a good guide that is fluent in english, so one can understand all the stories that sorrund the place and if the day is sunny so one can enjoy at maximum the sunset and the sea view. We had both so it was perfect
