Full description

You will never forget about Seville. The capital and the largest city of Andalusia, in Spain.

Just in the city centre, there are four monuments classified as World Heritage by UNESCO! In this guided tour, we will be visiting the most important and famous attractions in Seville. Our official guide will give you a complete understanding of the city: the art, architecture, decorations, culture, and the characteristics of the “sevillanos”, its inhabitants. The main attractions are, undoubtedly, the Cathedral of Seville and the Alcázar of Seville. Both of them hold Arabic, Christian and Roman details.

Our first stop will be at the Cathedral of Seville, the largest Gothic church in the world, classified as World Heritage in 1987. It was built over a great Mosque that was demolished. Yet, the bell tower of Giralda was kept, giving an intriguing character to this amusing Cathedral.

After we will visit the amazing Alcázar of Seville, the oldest royal palace in Europe, originally developed by Moorish Muslim kings. The palace is considered one of the most beautiful in all of Spain and one of the most outstanding examples of the Mudéjar art. It was classified as World Heritage in 1987 as the Cathedral. The term “Alcázar” comes from the Arabic “Alqáşr”, meaning “Royal House”. The Alcázar of Seville was also set for the 5th season of the famous show “Game of Thrones” as the Water Gardens of Dorne.

In this tour, there will be no queues to purchase the entrance tickets, once they are already included.

To finalize our route, we will visit the Barrio Santa Cruz, in the old town of Seville, near the Cathedral of Seville and the Alcázar. We promise you that this walking experience through this district will be absolutely rewarding.

Amazing Tour and Guide!
I was lucky to book this tour through Living Tours and have Ana as my tour guide! We were a group of 6 and we found this private tour a perfect option for us. On the day of the tour, we met Ana at the entrance of their store in Calle Francos 19, a few steps from the monuments we were about to visit. Ana introduce herself and gave us an audioguide system so we can hear her perfectly inside the monuments. We went straight to the Alcazar, and because we already had the tickets included on this tour, we were able to skip the line and start immediately the visit. The Alcazar is one of the most impressive monuments I've visited in my life and Ana made the difference. Her explanations were amazing. After the Alcazar we strolled around Santa Cruz quartier and we had the chance to stop for a coffee and snack before starting the second part of our tour. Again, skipping the line to enter the Cathedral was a huge plus! Ana explained the Cathedral, the Columbus history and showed us where he was buried. Later she gave us time to go up the tower and check the view! too many stairs let me say... In the end, Ana pointed us some suggestions for lunch and some other attractions and monuments so we can visit on our own. I totally recommend this tour and buying with Living Tours. They handle all the booking with such care and devotion. Thank you Living Tours!
