We will set off at 9 am from Santander to arrive in Fuente Dé at around 10 am. The cable car journey will take 4 minutes, reaching an altitude of 1,823 m! When we arrive, you will be amazed how the Picos de Europa mountains rise up in front of us like a great stone wall. The stunning views from this place are incredible! In Fuente Dé you will have some free time to get to know the area (1 hour and 30 min approx) which you can use to explore the area, go on a horseback tour of the surrounding area (1 hour) or take the cable car to the top station.

We will be around Picos de Europa for about an hour, so you can take photos and explore the area at your leisure. After this stop, our next destination is the village of Pontes. But first, we will take the opportunity to visit the beautiful Monastery of Santo Toribio. This monastery is very important since, it houses the Vera Cruz, the largest wooden crucifix in the world.

After this visit, it is time to visit Potes. In fact, Potes is listed with one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. In this small village, we will stroll through the streets and take a break for lunch. There you will have some free time for lunch and shopping if you wish. Finally, we will meet for a short group walk around the village before starting our return journey.
