Full description

We start the tour towards Guatiza where we will admire the cactus plantations. You'll also find out about cochineal, an insect that lives in these plants. This being is used in the region for various purposes, from cosmetics to pharmaceuticals and gastronomy.

Then we continue to Mala, home of Lanzarote's oldest cactus garden.

Heading north, we pass through the villages of Arrieta and Punta Mujeres, with the tourist centers of Jameos del Agua and Cueva de los verdes as our destination. These centers designed by the acclaimed architect César Manrique, are part of the main visiting points of the island. Only one of the places will be visited, at your discretion!

Then we will follow the coast to the beach of Caletón, with white sand and crystal clear waters. At the next stop in Órzola, notice the contrast of the white of the fishing village with the turquoise blue of its beaches.

We resumed our journey to the vicinity of Yé, finding the famous Mirador del Río. This amazing balcony overlooking the sea, was also built and designed by César Manrique and is considered as one of the characteristic works of the northern island, the Chinijo archipelago. The region is a protected natural space, rich in marine biodiversity.

We will visit Guinate Viewpoint and then continue to Helechos Viewpoint. Here you can taste a variety of typical Canarian products and admire Haría and the magnificent Valley of the Thousand Palm Trees. In this area, we will see another side of Lanzarote, where the dry territory becomes an orchard: the landscape is fresher and more verdant due to the haría plantations and the surrounding villages.

Finally, we will go to Teguise, passing through Valles until we reach César Manrique's house, where the tour will end.
