Route number 2 is the best
We made both itineraries the blue and green and I liked much more the green. Maybe because there were less people and the buses were more punctual. If you have the time I advise to do both but if not go for the green. Cheeers

Best way to move in Madrid
Madrid is a big city and to visit it one has to choose a practical and enjoyable way of transport. I always like the hop on hop off because allows us to move, have routes that will pass through some main touristic spots, and has the audioguide. One of the grat advantages of this in Madrid is that the audioguide was functioning perfectly and I could learn a lot while moving from one point to another.
