Our guide Ricardo was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and was freely answering any questions we had. I rate the tour as a 10 and all this was the result of our guide. However, it became known to us that the guides do not get paid from the company. That is certainly not acceptable to me nor to anyone else in our group and for that reason I will not do another tour with the company

Ricardo was incredibly informative, wry and funny. It was an uncanny day to be on a Jewish tour of Porto, where one could not help hearing the stories of the inquisition through the matrix of horrors flooding in from Israel/Palestine. He handled the past with aplomb, making it come alive, without ever crossing the line into politics. I was so impressed.

Ricardo is a fantastic guide, incredibly knowledgeable, constantly researching the subject and providing a wealth of information. Plus the beautiful views of the city is a bonus.

Our tour focusing on Jewish Porto was informative and easy to understand. It covered a large part of the historic city with comments on the monuments that were near or replaced the Jewish areas. Great tour for anyone interested in Porto history.

I recently had the pleasure of taking a Jewish walking tour in Porto, Portugal with George as our guide. From start to finish, the experience was truly exceptional. First and foremost, George was an incredibly authentic and knowledgeable guide. It was clear from the moment we met him that he was passionate about Jewish history and culture, and his enthusiasm for the subject was contagious. He had an extensive knowledge of the history of Jewish communities in Porto and Portugal as a whole, and was able to share this knowledge with us in a way that was both engaging and informative. What impressed me most about George, however, was his willingness to answer all of our questions. He was patient, kind, and took the time to ensure that everyone on the tour felt heard and understood. Overall, I cannot recommend this Jewish walking tour with George highly enough. We book the tour in the United States of America through the Living Tours website. They offered me and my family 5% discount. The tour was really cheap for all the information we got during the 3 hours. I recommend everyone to bring water and extremely comfortable shoes. Fabulous experience. Shalom.

When I bought the tour I was afraid it was too cheap, but we also have to see that it is a walking tour. It was one of the most economical walking tours I've done so far, and the richest in the information. Congratulations to the guide Mariana for her fantastic general culture
