This tour leaves Barcelona at 9 am from our office opposite the famous Palau de la Musica in the center of Barcelona. 

Before you depart Barcelona, your guide will provide an overview of the key Game of Thrones sights you’ll see that day, as well as the other places you’ll visit.

On the hour-long drive to Girona, your guide will tell you all about Girona and an insight into the history of Catalunya.

Once you arrive, you’ll follow the trail of key characters such as Tyrion, Cersei, Joffrey, Sansa, and Jaime, among others, at the show’s key filming locations. Throughout the day, your guide will share photos at each site, helping you piece together what it takes to film and produce the hit show.

Continue your visit by grabbing a scoop of ice cream from a local vendor, a flavor affectionately named ‘King’s Hand’ in honor of the crown’s most trusted advisor.

Finish your exploration of Girona, taking time to wander its medieval alleys, Jewish neighborhood, and historic architecture.

After some free time alone, you’ll meet up with the guide and drive to a family run a Mediterranean local restaurant for a hearty lunch with many of the local specialties.

From there, you'll head out for the last stop at a well preserved medieval castle before heading back to Barcelona, arriving at about 5.30pm.
