Our next destination is Bilbao you will make a break and enjoy a delicious lunch. After that you will be able to see the architecture and culture of this city, also you will visit the Guggenheim Museum, where is included entrance. The museum has a permanent collection also includes work by Spanish greats such as El Greco, Goya, and Tapies, as well as international artists like Mary Cassatt, Paul Gaugin, and Francis Bacon.

Trip to bilbao

Basque Country is a magic piece of land. We were about a week exploring this region. The best of Bilbao for me was not the Guggenheim Museum, but the Casco Viejo district with its curveous streets and vibrant distinct character. If you can take a walk along the river and the relaxed feel of the city, which all make it worth your time to visit. The lunch was very good and the afternoon part of the trip was enjoyable also. Our guide had a good English and as a local knew many unofficial stories. It was a quality day. Deserves a try.

Complete tour to Bilbao

A great city for, shopping, architecture, food, and culture. Which we could have more time to walk on the streets. Felt very safe all the time. Our guide was always with us almost like a baby sitter we have to thank him. Guggenheim is a must, of course, also the old town, pintxos bars and market excellent. At lunch break we eat a very tastefull fish with roasted potatos along with some basque wine. In the afternoon we went to “Dragonstone”. This trip it's well worth it.

Knowing Bilbao and around

We came on a comfortable bus from San Sebastian to Bilbao in the morning and even before going out we notice how clean city it is. The Guggenheim is an amazing piece of art inside and outside. The "hanging bridge" is a marvel. The people are friendly. The food and wine are delicious. In the afternoon we went to some spots near the city including that famous islet of the serial with dragons. Overall was pleasant.
