This sport became popular in the Hawaiian Islands in the early 60 years. The Beach Boys were standing on the big boards while they paddled with shovels to take pictures of tourists who were learning to surf.

With the growing number of fans of this sport, we decided to provide this experience in one of the most beautiful beaches and with the best conditions on the North of Portugal to enjoy this SUP lessons - Matosinhos beach!

Stand-up Paddle is a sport that allows you to enjoy the thrills of the waves in a more peaceful manner. These private courses focus on initiating new paddlers or perfecting the techniques of those with previous experiences. Beginners can have their first taste on the board and get in love with this amazing sport with an introductory class. An instructor will be with you the whole time and will give you tips, so you can improve.

The use of one of our high quality boards and paddles is included in this experience, as well as our wetsuits. Insurance is also included. You just have to bring your towel and good vibes and be prepared to have a lot of fun at the beach with us.

Note: If your interest is just renting the equipment (board + wetsuit + paddles), without having to participate in a class, that is also possible. You just need to choose the amount of time that you prefer between 2 hours, half-a-day and full-day.
