Departing from Seville, we will drive for one hour to the South of Spain, arriving at the Bay of Cádiz – a natural harbour in the Province of Cádiz.
Our first stop is at Jerez de la Frontera, a city in Cádiz, largely known for the Jerez Sherry wine, for the breed-horses, for the Flamenco dance and music and for the motorcycling circuit. After a short stroll through this Andalusian city, we will visit one of its traditional cellars in the Old Town. There, we will also taste some famous wines. Jerez is known as the world capital of sherry wine and that is the reason why Jerez de la Frontera has a strong development in the wine tourism.
We will continue the tour going past the Port Of Sant Mary (in Spanish: El Puerto de Santa María) – most known for having been the place from where Columbus departed to Americas – to the Cadiz’s capital, also named Cadiz, known as The Silver Cup (in Spanish: La Tacita de Plata). This friendly and sailor city has amazing silver water and beautiful views. Also, the population of Cadiz is famous for their sense of humour. Our guide will take you to the city centre, next to the Santa Cruz Cathedral, to discover the oldest city in Europe with more than three millennia of history. The Cathedral was built on the site of an old Muslim mosque, and it’s visible from almost all points of the city.
Then, we can enjoy the evening in any of its many beaches or along the narrow streets of the Barrio de la Vina, the most traditional neighbourhood in Andalusia, or El Pópulo, where you can observe and pass through a medieval archway.
We will arrive at Seville at about 7pm.
No cancellation fee if you cancel until 72 hours prior to the activity date.
