Full description

Visit the stunning Casa Battló, La Pedrera, Sagrada Familia and Parque Guell on this guided tour.

CASA BATLÓ: Antoni Gaudí's inspirational imagination led to the construction of one of the most artistic and poetic buildings in the world, Casa Batlló. Its synthesis of reptile forms, curves like vine branches, insinuations of bones and skeletons, and its use of colorful pieces of ceramic and glass create a surprising masterpiece in all its corners. This building has an impressive impact inside and out and the facade is inspired by the carnal and the legend of Saint George. The interior, Gaudí idealized as the bottom of the sea and created a series of modern and interesting solutions to ventilate the house and make it more welcoming.

CASA MILÀ "LA PEDRERA": the name "La Pedrera" is due to the building having the appearance of a large block of stone. Today, Casa Milà is part of the World Heritage by UNESCO and it is impossible not to stop and admire all the splendor of this building so different, that it looks more like a lunar landscape, or even gives the impression of moving as the wind hits the walls.

At this point of the walk, you will have three hours free time for lunch and go to our office on Sardenya street for the check-in of the second part of the walk. You can walk along Provenza street, which takes about 30 minutes or you can also take the metro at the Diagonal stop, right in front of La Pedrera. You should take the L5 to the Sacred Family stop.

SAGRADA FAMILIA: This is one of the most emblematic Catholic churches and is located in the city of Barcelona. The Expiatory Temple of the Holy Family of Barcelona was started in 1882 and is still unfinished today. Its risk is due to the creative genius of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí, who applies the ideas of Art Nouveau to religious architecture. In this visit discover all the features that make this monument one of the most visited in the world.

PARK GÜELL: Located in the upper part of Barcelona with a fantastic view of the city, the Parque Guell is one of the most emblematic works of architect Antoni Gaudí and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984. Although according to the original project it was supposed to be an urbanization, upon request of the Catalan businessman Eusebi Güell, it was finally inaugurated as a public park in 1926. Gaudi planned the construction of the park from 1900 to 1914 for a residential park for sixty single-family homes. The project, however, was unsuccessful and the park became city property in 1923. Although it was never fully completed, it remains one of Gaudi's most colourful and entertaining works.

Reviews

Outstanding experience!
My wife and I were interested in learning more about Gaudi and paid for a skip the line tour of Gaudi. It is an easy and fast way to visit many places and reach the Guell Park. The tour guide was knowledgeable friendly. There was a great balance between walking and riding in the coach.
