Full description

1st Day (Sun.) BARCELONA – ZARAGOZA - MADRID

Departure from Plaza Catalunya, at 08:30 AM. Drive southwest and arrive in Zaragoza, the capital city of Aragón, within the banks of Ebro River - one of the longest river of the Iberian Peninsula. Zaragoza, known as Cesar Augusta during the Roman Period, had an important role in Spanish history.  Have some free time to see the impressive Baroque architecture of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar. Continue to Madrid. Accommodation at the hotel. 

2nd Day (Mon.) MADRID – CORDOBA – SEVILLA

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the underground parking of the Plaza de Oriente. Departure at 08:30 AM southward along the land of Don Quixote, “The man from La Mancha”. Along the way, have the opportunity to observe vast vineyards. Cross through the natural border of “Despeñaperros” and get into Andalusia. This region shows an enormous heritage from a splendorous past. There are several cities to explore! Reach Cordoba. First, have an impressive tour of its Mosque and other sites that will ease our mind and spirit, strolling through its narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, after a short two hours ride, we will reach Sevilla. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

3rd Day (Tue.) SEVILLA

Breakfast at the hotel. Start the day with a morning Monumental and Panoramic city tour – discover the Cathedral (from outside), the Santa Cruz Quarter, the Maria Luisa Park and the Spain Square. Then, the afternoon is at leisure for you to discover exclusive views, specific flavors of this vibrant city, full of light. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Optional Flamenco Tour.

4th Day (Wed.) SEVILLA – GRANADA

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive east through the Caliphate road to the heart of Andalucia, observing an endless number of olive trees on the way to Granada and its incredible and amazing monumental environment. Granada was the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to 1492. Visit the world-famous Alhambra (Red Palace) and Generalife Gardens that have inspired several authors due to its sounds and landscapes. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Optional Gipsy Flamenco show at Sacromonte quarter.

5th Day (Thu.) GRANADA – VALENCIA

After having breakfast at the hotel, start your day looking for the Mediterranean Coast. Via Murcia, capital of the fertile garden of the Segura river, continue north via Alicante, the second largest city within the autonomous region land of Valencia. Reach Valencia, one of the main capitals of the Mediterranean Coast, filled with modern buildings and artistic monuments. Valencia is also the home of the internationally well renowned and delicious Paella, the famous Spanish rice recipe. Accommodation at the hotel.

6th Day (Fri.) VALENCIA – BARCELONA

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning city tour in Valencia, including a guided tour through the old city center, showing the most prominent buildings. Then, we will drive past the old riverbed of the Turia to the most avant-garde complex Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias (City of Arts and Science) to watch the emblematic exteriors of the six buildings. In the early afternoon, departure northward all along the Mediterranean coast to Catalonia, via Tarragona, the Roman Tarraco. We will reach Barcelona, the main Mediterranean city, and the homeland of the famous architect Antoni Gaudí, the greatest symbol of the Catalonian Modernism.
