The tour departs from your hotel in Coimbra and heads to the Invicta city for a visit of the city classified as World Heritage by UNESCO since 1996. Porto is recognized for its wealth of monuments and art. Filled with award-winning wine cellars, enormous leisure and cultural infrastructures, these are just some of the reasons not to miss this private tour to the oPorto.

During the tour we will visit the D.Luís I bridge. Inaugurated in 1886, it was designed by engineer Théophile Seyrig, disciple of Gustave Eiffel. This bridge connects the city of Porto with Vila Nova de Gaia, crossing the Douro River. 

It will be possible to observe the Port Wine Cellars. Port wine is internationally known for its quality and, although it is produced in the Douro Valley, the cellars are located in the city of Porto. If you have interest, you can have a tasting of this wonderful and unique wine. 

The tour continues with a visit to São Bento railway station. Built in the 20th century it is one of the most beautiful in the country. It has a glass and iron structure and is decorated with twenty thousand tiles that illustrate the evolution of transport and important events in the history and lifestyle of the Portuguese. 

During the tour we will visit the church and tower of Clérigos, symbol of the city and of the country. This 18th century baroque church is the work of Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni. 

You will also have the opportunity to visit other emblematic places, such as the famous Café Majestic, the Praça da batalha, the iconic Ribeira and one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world, Lello Library.
