Quinta do Panascal has been open to the public since 1992, one of the first to be so in the Douro valley region.

Panascal's educational audio-tour allows guests to wander independently through vineyards dramatically situated atop rolling hills overlooking Távora River. 

The audio-tour also includes the "lagares" (traditional granite tanks) on a 30 minute walking experience and allows visitors to visit the vineyards in their own time.

During the grape-harvesting season, you can enjoy the unique experience of watching grape treading in the "lagares", where Fonseca Port wine is still produced in the traditional way.

The audio tour is combined with a choice of 3 tastings:

• Classic: Siroco, Bin Nº27, Tawny 10-Year-Old
• Introdução à Fonseca: Siroco, Late Bottled Vintage Unfiltered, Tawny 20 year
• Tawny: Siroco, Fonseca 10 &  20 year tawny, Roasted almonds
