  1st Day (Tue.) MADRID – ZARAGOZA – SAN SEBASTIÁN

Departure will be from our selected hotels in Madrid. Please check your reservation details about the meeting point. Departure towards Zaragoza. Free time to visit the Basilica of Our Lady of The Pilar, and stroll through the old streets of Zaragoza. In the afternoon we will continue to San Sebastian, it’s one of the most famous tourist destinations where they hold the International Film Festival. Accommodation at the hotel.

2nd Day (Wed.) SAN SEBASTIÁN 

Breakfast included at the hotel. Panoramic city tour of this marvel style bourgeois city, seeing the extraordinary landscape dominated by the bay and the magnificent La Concha beach. We will approach Mount Igueldo, to contemplate the marvellous views of the city. Free time. 
In the afternoon, possibility of an optional visit to the picturesque villages of Hondarribia and San Juan de Luz, already in French territory.

3rd Day (Thu) SAN SEBASTIÁN – BILBAO – CASTRO URDIALES – SANTANDER

Breakfast included at the hotel. We proceed towards Bilbao. Panoramic tour in Bilbao and free time on the esplanade where The Guggenheim Museum is located in order to admire this modern architectural building. Proceed to the old fishing village “Castro Urdiales”. Free time. Departure to Santander, a port city located between the sea and the mountains, well known for its Sardinero Beach, one of the best-known beaches in Spain. Free time to stroll through this elegant city. Accommodation at the hotel.

4th Day (Fri.) SANTANDER – SANTILLANA – COVADONGA – OVIEDO

Breakfast included at the hotel. Departure to Santillana, it’s one of the most important historical-artistic towns in Spain. It contains architectural treasures such as the Collegiate of Santa Juliana, a Jewel of the Romanesque Architecture in Cantabria. Continue to Covadonga, where you will have free time to see the Sanctuary and the Grotto where you will see the patroness of Asturias our Lady of Covadonga. In the afternoon, departure to Oviedo, where you will see on a series of hills the beauty of Saint Maria de Naranco Church, Jewel of the pre-romantic Asturian architecture. Free time to explore Oviedo, many of their streets are pedestrian, where you will be able to see World Heritage sites like The Cathedral, a splendid example of gothic Asturian architecture. Accommodation at the hotel.

5th Day (Sat.) OVIEDO – MONDONEDO - LUGO – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

Breakfast included at the hotel. Drive to the Galician region. Arrive at Lugo, stop in Mondonedo; free time to visit its imposing 12th century cathedral and taste the delicious "Tarta de Mondoñedo". Departure to Lugo and free time to be able to contemplate the Roman remains that still retains like its walls, declared World Heritage. Continuation to Santiago de Compostela, declared World Heritage as it is one of the most important centers of Christian Pilgrimages in Spain as the end of the Camino de Santiago route built during the Roman Empire. Accommodation at the hotel.

6th Day (Sun.)  SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

Breakfast included at the hotel. Visit to Santiago City, where we will see the main square called Obradoiro and also the Cathedral (entrance included) dedicated to the Apostle Santiago. A balance of the day at leisure to explore the narrow cobblestone streets and get the feel of the student atmosphere. Accommodation at the hotel.

7th Day (Mon.) SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – RIAS BAJAS – PORTO

Breakfast included at the hotel. Departure towards one of the most marvellous areas of Galicia, the Rias Bajas (Spanish Fjords). Driving through this magnificent landscape we will arrive in La Toja Island, universally known for its spa. Free time and continue to Portugal, passing through the Ria de Arosa. Arrive at Porto. Accommodation at the hotel.

8th Day (Tue.) PORTO

Breakfast included at the hotel. Panoramic sightseeing tour of Porto, considered World Heritage city. We admire the Cathedral, the Stock Exchange building and the Church of Santa Clara. Then enjoy a different perspective of the city along the Douro River on board a cruise and discover the historical heritage by visiting a famous Port Wine Cellar with wine tasting included. Free time. Accommodation at the hotel.

9th Day (Wed.) PORTO – CIUDAD RODRIGO - SALAMANCA 

Breakfast. Departure to the Spanish border. Already in Spain, and on the way to Salamanca, shortstop in Ciudad Rodrigo, a beautiful town surrounded by medieval walls and dominated by its imposing Alcázar.  Continuation to Salamanca, monumental university city, declared World Heritage. Accommodation at the hotel.

10th Day (Thu.) SALAMANCA - ÁVILA – MADRID

Breakfast included at the hotel. Departure to Ávila and free time to visit this historic city, distinctly known by its medieval walls. Ávila is sometimes called the Town of Stones and Saints, and it claims that it is one of the towns with the highest number of Romanesque and Gothic churches, in Spain. After that we will continue to Madrid.
