Like almost all the lagoons of São Miguel, the Lagoa das Sete Cidades is located in one of the volcanic craters that formed this island and it is exactly here that our tour begins, where you will learn more about the romantic history of this place.

Our journey starts in Ponta Delgada and then we'll take you to the top of Sete Cidades caldera. on the way we'll make some stops at some view points of interest and you can ctake this time to take some pictures or simply to appreciate the fascinating panoramas. 

The tour proceeds to Sete Cidades where a small stop will be made in the center of the picturesque village, right before the stop at the famous Vista do Rei Viewpoint. Lunch is included at a local restaurant where you can taste some typical dishes of the island. 

Then, you will continue towards Lagoa do Fogo with a stop at Caldeira Velha (entrance fees not included). Before returning to Ponta Delgada, time to take a glimpse of the Lagoa do Fogo, at the top of Pico da Barrosa
