Discipline
Discipline is man's best friend because it leads him to materialize the deepest desires of his heart.
In life, there are a lot of “vaporous people”: they start an activity with a lot of power, but then this initial eruption loses breath to replace, once again to mundane routine.
It is good to be motivated, it leads to movement, but the secret sits in cultivating habits.
And it is not just a matter of signing up in English or in the gym and going on the first day, but of religiously accomplishing, overcoming the temptation to stay at home when laziness or tiredness make a point of being present justifying themselves with “it's just one day, there’s no problem.”
Almost all the time, that day turns into two, then three, and so on until, finally, we give up.
The moment we stop performing a good habit, we start practicing a bad one.
