Details

Being Douro one of the main rivers of the Iberian Peninsula, allow yourself to create unforgettable memories sailing through it, getting the opportunity to behold the vineyards that are well-known for producing Port wine. After departure from Vila Nova de Gaia Quay or Estiva Quay, start your cruise until Pinhão and enjoy the Breakfast that will be served on board.

First, we go upstream the Crestuma-Lever (14 meters high) located in the watershed of Douro making it the last dam to reach the river mouth. After, you will pass through Carrapatelo dam (35 meters high)  that opened in 1972 by the 13th President of Portuguese Republic, Américo Thomaz. This dam contains the first navigation lock built in Portugal for interior navigation.

After passing through both dams, you can enjoy the surrounding landscapes while lunch is served on board.

Before arriving at Pinhão we pass through the last dam. Régua dam, this time with 28 meters high. Once you arrive at Pinhão, will be given some free time to spend around before heading back to Porto.

Return to Porto will be made through Douro line on a relaxing train trip.

Book now your cruise and board through one of the most beautiful routes on a 1-day cruise through the Douro region!
