Once you come to the Azores, you cannot miss the opportunity of seeing whales and dolphins in their natural habitat. Before this amazing boat trip through the blue ocean of the island, our biologists will give you a briefing to explain which cetacean species can be observed, safety measures aboard, how we respect the animals and rules of observation at sea as well as some historical facts. After that, we will continue our tour on the sea.

During this fantastic activity, it will be possible to watch some of more than 25 cetacean species. Although nature offers no guarantees, whales and dolphins are regularly seen on our half day tours, along with turtles, seabirds, and other marine life.

After lunch our jeep tour begins. Inside the volcanic crater, you'll find the quiet and charming parish of Sete Cidades. Here, it's common to see farmers using horses as their means of locomotion, evoking a sense of times gone by. Between farmland, forests and pastures, explore every corner of this volcanic region. You'll also have the chance to visit the beautiful church of St Nicholas.

You'll pass fantastic viewpoints such as Pico do Carvão and Pico de Santa Cruz, Miradouro Vista do Rei, where you can enjoy views of the coast, lagoons surrounded by lush vegetation and the mountains. If the weather is good, you can contemplate the Lagoa de Santiago and Lagoa Rasa.
