Our day will start at your accommodation, driving towards the stunning Coimbra - the city of the students, the academic Fado, the nostalgia and the culture and roots of Portugal. 

Emerge to the 13^th century and explore this environment full of history and tradition. Visit the University of Coimbra, the ex-libris of the city, dated from the 13th century and declared a World Heritage Site. Admire the wandering students, wearing the typical academic uniform - a long black cape. 

The old Portuguese capital is well preserved in time, transmitting the medieval feeling everywhere you look. In fact, you will never be indifferent to the traditional neighbourhoods of Coimbra, famous for its narrow and sloping streets.

Our guided private tour will continue towards Aveiro. Once we get there, have the opportunity to gently observe the amazing views of the “Portuguese Venice”. Our tour guide will enlighten you with the characteristics and traditions of this marvellous city. What will you notice first? It may be the strong colours of the Art Nouveau buildings, the Moliceiro boats sailing calmly in the Ria or, perhaps, the aromas of the different gastronomic specialties. 

Enjoy a guided 45 minutes cruise along the lovely Aveiro canals while relaxing and listening to the tour guide. Learn the ancient times of Aveiro, where fisherman and the salt production were the daily routines of the population. In fact, Aveiro grew due to its famous salines. You can still find references along the city that remark those days. Explore these magnificent areas of salt water!

Also, let yourself be amazed by the typical Moliceiro boat, painted and decorated with Aveiro details and Portuguese themes. 

After this relaxing cruise, we will ride along the coast to discover the beautiful Costa Nova Beach, famous for the small colourful houses (strong colours in a pattern of vertical or horizontal lines) that seem to have been taken from a true fairy tale!
